Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LedgerWise (the "Service"), provided by LedgerWise ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it current.
• You may not share your account credentials or transfer your account to another party without our consent.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law.
• Enter false, misleading, or fraudulent transaction records.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or compromise the Service's systems, security, or another user's data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the Service's source code or proprietary technology.
• Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes the rights of others.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without authorization.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a way that overloads or disrupts it.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service.

• LedgerWise offers subscription plans with features, transaction limits, and pricing published within the Service and on the billing page.
• New accounts may receive a free trial for a limited period. Trial terms, duration, and limitations are displayed at sign-up and may change.
• When a trial ends, your access may become read-only or limited until you activate a paid subscription.
• Promotional and campaign offers are subject to their stated conditions and may be time-limited or quantity-limited.

• Subscription fees are billed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) unless otherwise stated, in advance for the selected billing period.
• Payments are verified by LedgerWise. Access to paid features is enabled once your payment is approved.
• When you submit payment proof, you authorize us to process and verify it for subscription activation.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion for documented service failures.
• We may change our fees upon reasonable notice. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing period after notice.

You retain ownership of the business data, transactions, and other content you enter into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant LedgerWise a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to use it. LedgerWise does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice; reports generated by the Service are informational only.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and features, is owned by LedgerWise and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as expressly permitted in writing.

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, or perform maintenance, with reasonable notice where feasible. We are not liable for interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

You may delete your account or stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe your activity harms the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain Your Content as described in our Privacy Policy and to comply with legal obligations.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LedgerWise and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business, arising out of or related to the Service, regardless of the cause. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the Service will be resolved in the courts of Pakistan, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
